Major Achievements

Grass-root Organization for Human Development (GODH) is a non-government and not-for-profit organization registered under Societies Act of 1860 The organization was established in October 1998 by a group of  like minded community activists but Mr. Nazir Ahmed Ghazi held the steer.

Neither the government nor any other civil society addressed the issues of this group. GODH is not only advocating for their basic rights on national and regional level but also on the global fabric as GODH believes that in this globalized world issues cannot be seen and addressed in isolation.

GODH is member of eight national and international organizations like Cleanup the World, Alliance for Human Development, GCE (Global Campaign for Education), ICAE South Africa and TLF (The Literacy Forum).

A group of 10 members including Executive Director of GODH have attended 3° international science fair 4 gypsy students and 2 teachers have participated MACFAIR International Mathematics and Computer .

A gypsy student “Ashraf Baggo” of GODH has participated in international children congress held in Italy.

District coordinator of CACL (Collation against Child Labor) and PNCC (Punjab NGO’s Coordination Council).

A British Rider Mr. Stephen McCutcheon began International Campaign for Education from Lahore on Oct 03 At GODH’s NAPA DIN School at Johar Town Lahore which was the great achievement for GODH. The objective of the campaign was to raise £100,000 from overseas donors for ActionAid international to support education in each of the above countries. 1:1 GODH has organized several theaters and puppet shows to create awareness regarding health, education and safety.
